It would be helpful to explain how this photo relates to the Zodiac case. Please clarify where and when this photo was taken.

Yes, that is Sandy in the middle. I would like to know more about the car behind Sandy, too. The writing on the car somewhat reminds me of the writing on the car door at Lake Berryessa in 1969. Maybe the Zodiac killer could have been inspired to write on the car door after seeing writing on other cars? It would be nice to know the approximate location and date of this photo.

On Saturday Nights my husband would hire a bartender to do his job, I was the waitress and would have to keep an eye on the bartenders to make sure they weren’t tapping the till. My husband would go to the Vallejo Speedway, to offer the winner of the main event and his crew free drinks at out bar after the races. I was still filling in at the Coronado Inn The Zodiac killer could have gone to Vallejo Speedway in the 1960s. www.vallejohardtops.com/index.html

I believe that it relates to the Zodiac case because it was taken in Vallejo late 60's probably 68-69.The Vallejo speedway was a huge event every Saturday for many people besides Vallejo residents. Two of my brother in laws had cars they built for racing there. One worked at Syar on Lake Herman rd, he drove the water truck from Syar for the race track. I often thought that Zodiac may have worked at Syar.
I was trophy Queen many times, who knows that could be where my Z suspect had spotted me and decided to stalk me? Being a waitress at the most popular night clubs in Vallejo could be also, I just don't know for sure.
All of the cars at the race track had writing on the doors, the car number and sometimes the drivers name, as well as the sponsors name, were printed on the doors. That particular car was driven by John Viel (I believe?),he was one of the top drivers. Seems someone saw the picture and knew the driver?
My friend Rooster was a race driver but didn't race at Vallejo that I know of. Rooster was the president of the Hell's Angel's in Richmond. Before he became a HA he worked as a taper at my boy fiends sheet rock company in Richmond. (I didn't know him then.) Rooster was forced off of the road and killed on the way towards Stockton in the mid 90's. I went to his funeral which was filmed by the FBI. There is a picture of some of his friends and myself on the front page over looking his grave site. The article was in the Contra Costa Times. If I come across that article, I will post it. I met Rooster when he was wearing a very nice 3 piece pin stripe suit. We dated a couple of times before I found out he was a HA.It is good to have them as your friend when you have a mad man stalking you. That was some good protection! Working as a waitress I have met, movie stars,Oakland Raiders, Hell's Angel's, including Sony Barger the top dog and very possibly the Zodiac.

Thanks Ricardo for posting the You tube videos of the Vallejo Speedway. brought back some fond memories. Nice to see that Phil Pedlar was still racing in 2010! There were a lot of other very good drivers who weren't mentioned. I believe that I showed you one of my Vallejo Speedway programs when you were at my home? I think you took a picture of it didn't you? There was a trailer court close by the track, the person who owned the boat "The Genora" lived in that trailer park. That was the boat that Darlene and Chris were on the night she was killed.I still find it odd that the VPD couldn't find that boat and I did? Is it any wonder that they also couldn't fine Zodiac?

It is possible that a race car driver or a trophy queen or a spectator who was at Vallejo Speedway in the 1960s might remember if there was anyone who was acting suspicious.
