Donald Trump has announced that he will be in Britain on June 24th,to officially re-open his recently acquired purchase - The prestigious Turnberry golf course,in Scotland.
Mr.Trump is known to be very fond of ''The Old Country'' and land of his mother's birth - despite being lambasted over his recent anti-Islamic rhetoric and current legal dispute with the Scottish Government over the proposed siting of Wind Turbines, near Aberdeen.
There is certainly some support for Mr.Trump,in Britain, with regard to his inferences that European countries are not ''pulling their weight'' on Nato costs and input.Britain has been trying to convince their continental allies of this, for years.
There may well be another reason for his visit, also.June 24th represents the day after Britain's referendum on whether to remain in The European Union. If the vote yields the result of electing to leave, then Trump can confidently be present to witness his recent adversary,Mr.David Cameron, resign as Prime Minister.
A possible ''Double celebration'' awaits ''The Donald'',then.

With a week to go [June 23rd],before the voters of UK decide on their future with Europe, the debate starts to take center stage in Foreign Politics.
In the Washington D.C.,The White House administration are hoping for a vote to ''Remain'' - though news of the four wealthiest banks in USA actively funding ''Brexit'',the campaign to leave Europe, must be disheartening.
President Putin of Russia has not personally commented, though it is generally known that any move that might potentially weaken NATO's resolve, would be welcome.
Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany has now made representation,in a plea for Britain to stay, though France's President Hollande remains at a respectful distance from their neighbor's debate. He appears to be more concerned about English and Russian football hooligans fighting each other, and threatening to disrupt The European Football Championships, which his country is currently hosting.
With both ''Remain'' and ''Leave'' campaigns in full swing, opinion polls suggest a victory for leaving Europe, next Thursday. But whatever the British electorate's opinion, there is a general feeling that Prime Minister David Cameron deserves a [figurative] ''Darn good kicking'',for his stingy Austerity measures, apart from ''threatening tones'' in persuading his compatriots to remain in Europe.
Mr.Donald Trump, has already booked a ''front row seat'',to witness Mr. Cameron's possible humiliation.Accusing a U.S Presidential candidate of being ''out of step'' and ''ignorant'' undoubtedly did not go unnoticed, and Mr.Trump is relying on the British people's sense of fair play,to redress the balance,in his favor.

Days could rarely have gone better than yesterday, for U.S.Presidential candidate Donald Trump.Arriving at Turnberry golf course in Scotland, and accompanied by Highland Pipers,he shook hands with well wishers, and, with cameras and microphones poised, expressed his great love for Scotland and the Scottish people.
A few anti Trump protesters, waving the Mexican flag, and [strangely] displaying golf balls painted with the Nazi insignia, did not dampen what was for Mr.Trump,a double celebration.Just a few hours earlier, the UK had surprised many countries by electing to leave The European Union. As an added bonus for ''The Donald'',his political adversary,Prime Minister David Cameron, had tendered his resignation,in the wake of UK's decision.
''The British people have taken back their independence, and I think it is a wonderful thing.'',expressed Trump. There was not much more that he could add,as he glowed in the Sun,and glory of his beautiful golf golf course.
All to play for now, with Mrs.Clinton in his sights, and The White House as his next prospective acquisition.

As Donald Trump returned stateside, from the UK,having secured what he really came for - David Cameron's resignation, political ''bun fights'' and recriminations ensued among Westminster members of Parliament,in the wake of the referendum result.
There were no flies on the leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party,Nigel Farage, who made his way to Brussels,Belgium,to deliver a speech to his fellow European Parliamentarians.
To a stunned House,he accused European MP's of being a bunch of ''fat cats'' and ''freeloaders'',who had ''never had a proper job in their lives.''.
Indeed,Mr.Farage was not inclined to feel restrained : ''When I first came here 17 years ago,I told you all that I intended to take Britain out of Europe - and you all laughed at me.Well, you're not laughing now ! ''.
As the ''messy divorce'' begins, the joyous smile on Mr.Farage's face will remain for a long time to come.

With Hilary Clinton's recent ''exoneration'' over the careless leaking of State secrets, through e-mails,she is now freed up,in her attempts to win over the American electorate, and become the first female U.S. President.
No sooner had James Tomey,Director of the FBI,made his speech,to this effect,Mrs.Clinton had hired her first new recruit,on her campaign trail - current U.S.President Barack Obama,or ''Chief good character witness in command'',as he is now known.
Women are fast becoming the ''new men'' in world politics, with Germany's Chancellor Merkel an already long established figure, and Theresa May,all set to become Britain's second woman Prime Minister.
No doubt,Donald Trump will be hoping to spoil the ''gurl's'' party.

To the great surprise of international politicians, across the world, new British Prime Minister Theresa May's first appointment was ex-London Mayor, and Old Etonian Boris Johnson,to the post of Foreign Secretary.
Wry smiles and derision broke out in equal amounts,as news of this well known eccentric, being ''let loose on to the world's stage'' emerged.
Though belonging to the Conservative and Unionist Party,Mr.Johnson is presumed to be the illegitimate son of Monster Raving Looney Party's ''Screamin' '' Lord Sutch.
Well known for his gaffes,''Boris'' was last remembered for injuring a Japanese toddler, while displaying his [limited] Rugby skills, and thanking Chinese officials,by declaring that ''Ping Pong is coming home.''.
Many are holding their breath,at what is to come.In the past,he has accused citizens of the City of Liverpool,as ''Happy to recline on the sofa of Welfare handouts.'',and Mrs.Hilary Clinton as resembling '' A psychopathic nurse in a psychiatric institution''.
There is little doubt that he will entertain. One just wonders whether Mr.Johnson will serve his country's best interests....and,for how long [?].

As Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, plays ''musical chairs'' with his campaign team,in an effort to improve his recently dented chances of securing High Office at The White House, prospects appear to be no better,on the near horizon.
Although employing a ''high work rate ethic'',and more recently making particular efforts to court the African American vote, reports of Trump's massive business debts, are beginning to ''pile up''.
Trump is close to admitting that a figure of $650 million indebtedness is more accurate, than a previously admitted figure of half this amount.
But,The reality appears to be far worse. It has been claimed that a building, owned by Trump on 6th Avenue,Manhattan,is in debt to the tune of almost one billion dollars, with shares in Casino businesses in Atlantic City, representing perhaps two billion dollars in arrears.
Mr.Trump has financial backing with Loan Houses, such as The Bank of China and Goldman Sachs, and there is no mystery with regard to those willing to take the plunge, alongside ''The Donald''.
As the saying goes :''If you owe a bank one million dollars, the bank owns you.....but if you owe a bank one billion dollars, you own the bank.''

An article in ''The Scotsman'' Newspaper, last weekend, reports that Donald Trump has failed to be transparent, with regard to his business holdings of Scottish golf courses in Aberdeenshire and Fife.Declaring healthy incomes from these holdings, when losses are the reality, the information has been passed on to the US Senate, where it is being touted that Mr.Trump may face an ''Integrity Tribunal''.in the near future.
All is not ''plain sailing'' for Mr.Trump's rival Presidential candidate,Hilary Clinton, however.Reports have surfaced that the FBI are scrutinizing the ''activities'' of ''The Clinton Foundation'' - an organization set up by Mr.and Mrs.Bill Clinton, and funded by fees for speeches that both husband and wife, give.
Can these financial ''conundrums'' be solved,in time for the US Presidential election ?
Or,is there a ''darker force'',at play - designed to discredit both candidates ?

Some might share your opinion,Davb [!].
And a belated welcome to you,by the way.
As November looms, one feels that the reality is only just kicking in.The unknown beckons with a vision that the next President of the USA,and therefore, the most influential person in Western society,is either a man of questionable probity, who believes that his country needs to be reinvented........or,the long suffering wife of an ex-President,who almost got impeached for his inability to keep his trousers securely zipped up,at all times.
For some reason,I am reminded by the story about George Washington, who,on realizing that one way of keeping his staff, close at hand, was to commission a chapel to be built,so that they always had a place of worship.
When the chapel was completed,Washington installed an appointed Chaplain, with a full Church service every Sunday,to which Washington himself, would attend.
After a few Sundays,Washington was approached,in private,by the Chaplain, who inquired why it was that Washington would leave each Sunday service, after only five minutes, thereby not exactly setting a good example to his grateful staff.
Washington's reply to the Chaplain was succinct : ''I'm so sorry,it won't happen again.''.
Thereafter,Washington never did attend another service.
In those days, the very thought of ''Atheism'' was a far worse sin, than anything imaginable.

With the newly released so called ''Groping Tapes'' revealing a darker side to Donald Trump's attitude to young and pretty women, his already depleted popularity ratings have fallen even lower.General concerns about Trump's financial probity and fiscal responsibility is one thing, but a sexual attitude portrayed as ''demeaning'',is another ''kettle of fish''.
With prominent members of his own aligned Republican Party, deserting him publicly,Trump had been initially ''eating humble pie''.However,in typical bombastic style,he has now returned to the offensive [....forgive the pun [!]...],and states that he relishes a return to the debating forum, with Hillary Clinton, this coming Monday evening, for the second of their three debates.
Trump has hinted that he intends to tackle Mrs.Clinton on her past public ''persecution'' of women who have encouraged her husband Bill,to ''wander astray''.One assumes that Trump has evidence of a ''hatfull of harlots'',for which ''Hillary'' has chased out of town.
As an outsider, one wonders where the American electorate now find themselves [?].After all, they have stood back,or encouraged two candidates to emerge,of not wholly sound credentials,to contest the most prized position in Western politics.
With only a month to go before the ''election proper'',it may well be too late for someone to ''parachute'' in a third candidate,of general appeal, and save, what is fast becoming,a choice between the devil and the deep blue sea.
If one were to look around, who could possibly ''save the day'' ? Perhaps someone of good sense, with glamour also [?].
Enter ''stage right'',Mr.George Clooney [?].He would certainly appeal to ''the ladies'' - but that could be perceived as an aspersion, every bit as chauvinistic,as the accusations leveled at Trump, and perceptions cast in Bill Clinton's direction, for which his wife has forgiven, all too readily [?].
Right now,one of the most prestigious offices in world politics is looking decidedly, like a ''poison chalice''.

With the final of three debates, between Mr.Trump and Mrs.Clinton, taking place this coming Wednesday, some opinion polls suggest that Mrs.Clinton will become the next President of The United States, and with an overwhelming landslide.
Not for the reason that Mrs.Clinton holds universal appeal. It seems that Trump's campaign is simply running out of steam, and has been unable to reverse his recent ''misfortunes''.
Teetotal Trump,is now reverting to tactics aimed at Hillary Clinton's questionable stamina and general health. He is now suggesting that she is taking medication, described as ''uppers'',and,as with athletes, that both he and she should be subjected to drugs testing.
Naturally,Trump is blaming the media, also, for an election campaign that he believes is rigged,in favor of his rival.
The idea that a President should be in robust physical condition, has never been an absolute priority for the American electorate.Ronald Reagan, for example, was known to be in his dressing gown, and ready for an evening movie,by 6:30 p.m,every day.Eisenhower, for example, was known to spend the majority of his Presidency on a golf course.
The point,of course,is that there is trust in the delegation of duties and responsibilities to members of The President's staff. Some Presidents have, simply,a less ''hands on'' approach.Others, like Jimmy Carter, were criticized for being too ''hands on'',even insisting on examining the White House tennis court bookings, each morning.
To be US President, one has to actually ''get there'' in the first place - and for Donald Trump, this is looking like a destination, now beyond his reach.

A new revelation to-day,suggests that Hillary Clinton struck a deal with the FBI over her poor probity,on e-mail confidentiality, with a down grade in its severity officially portrayed.
Donald Trump has immediately jumped on this, with a Tweet, entitled ''Unbelievable''.
As the press are already pointing out,if only Trump had the patience to allow ''the mud to first stick'',instead of weighing in like a bull in a China shop,he might make some actual political capital.
Though a ''Darling'' of the Democrat inner sanctum, there are still real doubts over Mrs.Clinton's overall demeanor, with ''Cold'' being one her perceived shortcomings. In addition, carrying ''baggage'',in the shape of her husband's ''transgressions''.
But there, appears,to be ''the rub'' for Trump.''Timing'' and ''holding back'' seems to be a fatal flaw, for him.
And although the e-mail scandal returned to haunt Mrs.Clinton again, the press coverage has once again been re-visiting aspects of Trump's business empire.None of which, was complimentary.
Aberdeenshire farmer,Michael Forbes, was interviewed to-day,in light of his refusal to sell his land to Trump - who then accused Forbes of being ''disgusting''.Forbes claims that Trump removed his water supply, and subjected him to further forms of intimidation. Some of Forbes' comments were deleted, but viewers were able to hear Mr.Forbes' summation of Trump : ''The most obnoxious man that I have ever come across,in my life.''.
Wednesday's televised debate, could be Donald Trump's ''final throw of the dice''.
Can the ''Spiv, with a spay tan of Republicanism'',make it count ?

Interesting questions,Davb.
This section is really about the observation of politicians, and what drives them to seek a mandate from the people.Much of it is ''tongue in cheek'',therefore.
But yes, there is no reason why the workings of politics can't be discussed, also [?].
In the UK,there is a very complicated personal tax system, below the surface.Someone on an income of 35K,would be paying about 5K in personal tax,and someone on an income of 60K,would be paying about 10K.
The UK National Health Service offers free treatment to everyone, including visitors to the country. There is a minor charge for dental treatment. This,as a ''fundamental principal'' set out by a Labour[Democrat] government, following WW2.Many Western governments have attempted to replicate the ''blue print'' since, but have failed, for a variety of reasons. It is certainly not a perfect system. But,naturally,it comes as a surprise to many that The United States, still the wealthiest country in the world,is so far only able to provide a health service for about 70% of its people, without looking at charitable avenues to fund treatment for the 30% poorest.
In the UK,it remains a struggle to maintain the ''fundamental principle'',and one can see how an improvement, attempted by Barack Obama,in his Presidency, has largely failed.Health Care in the US,seems to come down to ''having a good job'' [?].As part of an ''employment package'' [?].
As a general observation on US politics,it appears that the two major Parties, are further apart, than ever before [?].No one seems to want the center ground - but it is here, where agreement can be made, and legislated change, for the good, can come about.
Feel free,to discuss further,Davb. My interest in politics is more about its ''phenomena'',and those that take up the mantle,in order to serve the people.
But,anything is on the table [?].
