Is Mrs.May ''playing a blinder'' ?
In light of a speech, delivered to European leaders,by British Prime Minister, last week, the press are still trying to pick up on its precise meaning.
That Mrs.May has, essentially, outlined her vision for a European economy, with a now independent U.K.,is of some consolation to its people, still wondering about their future. But,specific details, are still being ''thrashed out'',behind closed doors.
There is a rumor that the E.U. is demanding a severance,or ''punishment'' fee of $100 Billion, from Britain, before any final divorce details are discussed further. In addition,a veiled threat from Scotland's First Minister,Nicola Sturgeon,of a second referendum,in order to remove Scotland from the ''precious'' United Kingdom.
Theresa May,is believed to be heartened by telephone discussions with U.S.President Elect,Donald Trump - who is thought to be offering the U.K. an excellent trade deal, and leading role,in his vision for a re-vised NATO set up.Mr.Trump,though promising his compatriots ''America first, and always'',is known,in private,to regard himself as ''half-British'',and there is a growing opinion in ''Blighty'',that the inhabitants of ''The mother country'' would be foolish to ignore Trump's overtures.
And so it was, that Mrs.May was,in effect, able to lay down a veiled threat to E.U. leaders that,if not treated kindly,by them, then a better offer lies just around the corner.Naturally, the power brokers in Europe see ''Brexit'' as a worrying portent,to a possible break up of a powerful economy. There is a feeling that an example should be set,to dissuade further thoughts of ''abandonment''.
Is Mrs.May ''playing a blinder''? The people of Britain, are still, largely, being left in the dark.

Just as everything seemed to be going swimmingly for British P.M.,Theresa May,a ''banana skin'' in the shape of a nuclear missile misfiring, off the coast of Florida, conspires to land her a little shaken.
So it transpires, the Trident submarine,H.M.S Vengeance,in seeking an ocean target, some 5,000 miles away in the South Atlantic, fired a missile, that somehow found its way,on course for Washington D.C,instead.Naturally,corrective action was taken immediately, and,so we have been assured, did actually carry a ''dummy'' warhead.
With Mrs.May set to become Donald Trump's first visiting Head of State, this coming Friday, there might be more than a little explaining to do,before settling down to presumed Economic orientated business.

As Theresa May,remains ''guarded'' in her replies to questioning journalists over the ''missile misfire'' incident, parliamentary members in Westminster, are in heated debate, over the perceived embarrassment.
More particularly, since the M.P.'s are about to vote on agreeing to huge expenditure, over proposals to replace the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet.
There is,perhaps,a possible explanation to the riddle of the rogue missile. It has been reported that intelligence over the incident emanated from a U.S.Military ''leak''.
Why,as reported, was the missile heading in the direction of Washington D.C. ?
Could it be that this was actually a NATO exercise ?
That, perhaps, the ''exercise'' was a rehearsed nuclear attack on America's capitol [?].
That,perhaps,H.M.S Vengeance was the nominated ''enemy'' [?].

As Donald Trump's first week as U.S.President,appeared to many, like a bolt of lightening,a tender moment was caught by press cameras,as Trump decided to take British P.M. on a guided tour around the outside of his new home,The White House.
As appeared evident, the two leaders were holding hands [!].
Has the ''couple'' gone sweet on each other, already ?
The reality,though still ''tender'',was that Mr.Trump suffers from a rare condition,known as Bathmophobia.In essence,a fear of slopes,steps and staircases.
And as their leisurely walk was completed,Mr.Trump was seen to gently stroke Mrs.May's helping hand,as a gesture of thanks.

With new U.S.President Donald Trump a few weeks into his residency at The White House, the Free World,as well as the American public, are getting to know him better.
As well as Bathmophobia,Mr.Trump appears to suffer from Germaphobia - an aversion to germs, which involves ''restitutional'' behaviour, like the constant washing of hands and face.Luminaries, such as John Lennon, were similarly afflicted.
''Germaphobia'' seemed to come to the fore,in more than one way, recently, with the visit to The White House,of German chancellor,Angela Merkel.
With the official photo shoot,Mr.Trump was distinctly seen to deny Mrs.Merkel a handshake. This ''frostiness'' continued, even when Mrs.Merkel suggested that they do so.
It appears that this had more to do with Mr.Trump's current aversion to Germans, than germs.Mrs.Merkel seems to be intransigent,in Trump's request that Germany contribute more to the costs of NATO.
Perhaps a bitter pill for Mr.Trump to swallow ? The U.S.A and its allies set up the goalposts, after WW2,which restricted any armaments build up by Germany and Japan. So these two vanquished nations, decided to concentrate their industrial efforts on winning the ''Motorcar War'' over the U.S.A and Britain - which they succeeded in doing,by a wide margin.
---------------
It has not escaped most people's notice that President Trump is a fan of ''Tweets'',and likes to correspond with world on a daily basis. It is general knowledge that some of his advisers would wish that he desisted from this form of communication.
Like The Zodiac Killer and Ripper suspect,Walter Sickert,Trump has a tendency to compulsive writing.Perhaps on reflection, some of his ''Tweets'' would better have not appeared, given a second thought [?].
It is however,''refreshing'' to many that the President desires to communicate.Better, anyway, than being left in the dark [?].
And,Mr.Trump does,on occasion,express ''truisms''.A case,in point :
''I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke.''

A notable feature of Donald Trump's U.S. Presidency, has been a war of words with the press, over a ''phenomenon'',often referred to as ''Fake News''.
Understandably perhaps,''across the pond'',the press in England, have remained, conspicuously or not, relatively quiet on the matter.
''Fake News'' has tended to be considered ''fair game'',and indeed a sport, with certain elements of the English press,in Fleet Street....or ''The Street of Shame'',as it has often been referred to.
Real headlines in the past, include : ''Hitler was a woman''; ''Freddie Starr ate my hamster'' ;''London bus found on the moon'' and even,''Man f**ks pig''.
These strange ''inventions'' normally emerge, during what is often called ''The Silly Season''.Just a few weeks,at the back end of a sleepy summer, before life starts returning to regular ''hustle and bustle''.
There is also a slightly eccentric ''naive'' side to the English press, when it comes to the provincial ''rags'',or suburban newspapers.
When,on the 11th of September 2001,America was subjected to the atrocity of a series of terrorist attacks, from a largely unspecified enemy,it was difficult to foresee that the world would change, forever.
The shock, nevertheless,at the time, sent reverberations around the planet.
24 hours later, however,in the ''restful'' county of Surrey,England, the ''Haslemere Herald'',carried the optimistic banner headline :
''Onion Festival pronounced a great success !''

Donald's policies will not be Trumped! If 'Rocketman' keeps on yapping and threatening the mainland then 'Rocketman' won't be around much longer & to prove I ain't messing.....gonna fly some jets off the N.Korean coast!"
Does Trump actually know or understand that there is a reason why in prisons (uk prisons anyway) the hardest of inmates who run the prison in pecking order say they fear no one except.....the psychopath! The reason is simple, the 'top dog' in prison can threaten the sane prisoners and they will heed his warning. Psychopathic individuals cannot be intimidated because it's a proven scientific fact that has been observed via ECG Scans that the part of the brain responsible for reacting to threat or intimidation does not activate in psychopaths as it does in non psychopathic brains.
Threatening Kimmy J, or attempting to show force by flying jets in open air space close to N.Korea. . . Pointless!

A most interesting article,Ricardo, combining the Zodiac and Donald Trump,as well as references to other POTUS's.
Particular as Mr. Trump has just informed us that he is a ''VSG' - a Very Stable Genius.
We have no choice, but to believe him [?].
Yes,I do think that Richard Nixon was intelligent,as the article states,But it is wrong to infer that Donald Trump is ''unintelligent'' [?].
Though,perhaps ''self loving'' [?].
Mr.Nixon ''is'' accused of suffering from Anti Social Personality Disorder....but he could be very magnanimous to political friends and foes, alike.
Mr.Trump often appears less than magnanimous to anyone that doesn't work ''with'' him....but is unlikely to suffer from ''ASPD'' [?].
And,how does the Zodiac fit into all of this ?
A narcissist and a sufferer of ASPD.....to the nth degree......possibly [?].

When US President Donald Trump fired FBI Director,James Comey,in May of last year, many were ''more than'' surprised.
Mr.Trump had taken office, just three months prior, and was known to admire the achievements of the lofty FBI Director.
There was, perhaps, one sticking point with regard to inferences made by Comey, that the issue regarding possible Russian intervention in the US Presidential election,to Mr.Trump's advantage, would be examined in full.
But,Mr.Trump denied,and has always continued to deny,that there was any wrong doing.He even,effectively,got Russia's President,Mr.Putin,to deny it,on camera.
Mr.Comey's public comments, with respect to security breaches over Hillary Clinton's e-mails,did not best please Mr.Comey's immediate bosses,at the US Department of Justice. But this would certainly not have upset Mr.Trump, given that anything not favouring his political adversary at the time, would surely have been,of comfort,to Mr.Trump [?].
As specially assigned investigator, and ex-FBI boss,Robert Mueller, attempts to find out the precise reason for Mr.Comey's firing,he is aware of the following :
Mr.Trump admits that he was uncertain of Mr.Comey's capabilities, and had,at least, considered replacing the FBI Director, well before Mr.Trump actually did so.
At the time of Mr.Comey's firing,Mr.Comey was giving a speech to LA businessmen, when a screen showing live news, behind him, announced his own departure,at Mr.Trump's behest. The audience sighed with surprise....Mr.Comey continued his speech, believing the news to be a hoax.
Initially,Mr.Trump made two comments on his decision.Firstly, that Mr.Comey had been ''showboating'' - an irony not lost on many [!].Secondly, that he assured the American public that, they were going to thank him,Donald Trump,in the future, over this decision.
What Robert Mueller has found,so far,is that Mr.Trump fired Mr.Comey, following complaints unknown, made against Mr.Comey,by his immediate bosses at the US Department of Justice. The US Department of Justice has refused to give Mr.Mueller details, and are not compelled by law,to do so.
Mr.Mueller has expressed, publicly, that he may be forced to seek an interview with Mr.Trump, regarding this matter,at some point in the future.Mr.Trump may not agree to an interview, but public perception,at that time, might be a deciding factor in whether Mr.Trump agrees to the request,or not.
Where does the case of the Zodiac Killer, come into all of this ?
Possibly nowhere, but is certainly possible that the original ''complainants'',over Mr.Comey's behaviour,to the US Department of Justice, came from the California Department of Justice.
Why might this be ?
On Friday December 19th 2014,a meeting took place between James Comey,in his capacity of FBI Director, and Frank Mulholland,in his capacity of Lord Advocate of Scotland.Officially, the meeting was presumed to be,to discuss progress in the case of the Pan-Am Lockerbie bombing. The bereaved of victims,in this historic atrocity, were more than disappointed,in the lack of progress, appearing to have been made.
Two months later Frank Mulholland announced the official murder re-investigation of Brenda Page,a genetics scientist at Aberdeen University, brutally beaten to death on July 14th 1978.
Three days following this announcement,a letter was written to a bereaved of murder victim,Joan Webster, informing this person that no further case information would be available, since the Ms.Webster's whole case file had been handed over to a Law Enforcement agency, for the purpose of re-investigation.
The letter was written by Jonathan Blodgett, then District Attorney for Essex County,MA,USA,whose county held jurisdiction on the murder case of Joan Webster.
There is now compelling evidence that Ms.Webster's case file was handed over to Frank Mulholland and the Crown Prosecution Service,in Edinburgh,Scotland.
As Zodiac enthusiasts will be aware, through the efforts of academic Gareth Penn, the Joan Webster murder is considered as the ''possible'' responsibility of the Zodiac Killer.
The likelihood of an agreement for the Crown Prosecution Service,to take custody of Joan Webster's case file, therefore took place in Washington,on December 19th 2014.
Despite possible Zodiac links to Ms.Webster's murder, the meeting between Comey and Mulholland, did not include a representative from the California Department of Justice.
As Mr Comey was answerable to the US Department of Justice,in general,he was also answerable to the California Department of Justice, specifically, over any matters pertaining to the case of the Zodiac Killer, for which the FBI had been awarded jurisdiction.
Did the California Department of Justice find out that Comey and Mulholland had come to a private agreement, with respect to the case of the Zodiac Killer,at the exclusion of the California Department of Justice ?
Did the California Department of Justice then submit a complaint, with respect to this private agreement,to the US Department of Justice ?
Was this,in effect,the complaint about Mr.Comey,by the US Department of Justice,to Mr.Trump ?
Is the case of the Zodiac Killer, indirectly at least, the reason why Mr.Trump fired Mr.Comey ?

As ''special counsel'' investigator Robert Mueller continues in his quest to find the reason for President Trumps firing of James Comey, the press did not fail to notice the significance,of last week's interviews with Mr.Comey, himself, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Mr.Sessions, once FBI Director, under President Clinton, and Mr.Comey, are the only two FBI Directors,in US history,to have been fired.
Mr.Mueller,is eager to interview Mr.Trump, himself, and has already sent a list of broad based topics,to Mr.Trump's lawyers,as an optimistic precursor for the ''so far'' elusive interview.
Mr.Trump, has stated that he welcomes an interview,in order to put the matter to bed,so to speak. He continues to publicly deny Russian involvement in the last US Presidential election, and, points out that he would be happy to conduct an interview with Mr.Mueller, under oath. This, perhaps,as a ''pointed'' reference to Mrs.Clinton, who was interviewed over breaches in e-mail security, only on condition that she was not under oath.
At this stage,it is understood that Mr.Trump's lawyers have advised him not to grant Mr.Mueller, his wishes. It appears that Republican politicians are in accord with this advice, also.
In contrast,Democrat politicians are ''scurrying around'',attempting to lay their hands on any transcripts that previously were ''missing'',in an effort to assist Mr.Mueller, with his investigation.

News yesterday, that the Deputy Director of the FBI,Andrew McNabe, has resigned, has added further intrigue into the saga of special counsel investigator,Robert Mueller's attempts to uncover the reason for President Trump's firing of James Comey.
Mr.McNabe and Mr.Trump were known to share a ''frosty'' relationship, with Mr.Trump scornful of Mr.McNabe's wife obtaining $700,000 of Democrat political funding, while Mrs.Clinton was being investigated, over e-mail security breaches.
Andrew McNabe was known to have planned to retire in March...but this ''early exit'' suggests that the temperature in the ''kitchen'' is hotting up.
And don't the press just love it [!].
