Are there any existent voice recordings of Ross Sullivan?

Are there any existent voice recordings of Ross Sullivan? If there are any existent voice recordings of Ross Sullivan, how would you like to use them? |

I think Bryan Hartnell who will be 68 in May of this year would need to hear any such recording. Rather interestingly enough, he lives in Redlands, California. Nancy Slover, VPD Dispatcher, has passed on while David Slaight(Ret), NCSD, was the dispatcher on the day of the LB assaults and heard the killers' voice. I am not sure if he is alive or not. Any voice identification stands with BH who is practicing probate law and is active in various endeavors in his own region. By the by, BH has been on the Patton State Hospital(SB) Board since 1976. The Riverside Police came across a confession of a patient there during the time of the murder, of course, it was witten off as an ''hallucination'' and the like. Again, I think BH, if he is willing, could look back through the records there, and, perhaps, there is a sound recording of RS's voice. RS used to brag to a RCC librarian that he escaped from a mental facility, and was surprised how easy it was to do. He may have used such insitutions as hideouts after crimes-just a thought. Whether he was schizophrenic or not is of no importance as they can operate with complete clearity and with amazing focus when they are not in the state of their mental affliction. I think this is a very promising line and it would be interesting if a competent person in the San Bernadino, Redlands, Riverside area could contact Mr Hartnell and see if he would be interested in such an enterprise. When he passes on that door shuts with a distinct finality.

When he passes on that door shuts with a distinct finality. Most records are deleted in 10 yrs, so I don't see a connection other than the hospital for BH to have known RS in 1966 or 69. Maybe I am missing the point? Bryan has listened to most of the suspects voices, so I am assuming he heard RS. Bryan to this day says he has not heard the killers voice other than at Lake Berryesa. The Zodiac's voice can not be imitated, it is very unique! Others have heard it besides BH who are still alive. I am pretty sure that Officer Slaight has passed away. |
