John Irvin still alive ( age 81 ) and still making films to this day. Started with close associations with the BBC. Then Hollywood, into the 1970's. More usually the European Cinema scene, these days.

So I have a second article about Reeve Whitson’s next surreal adventure into the world of forcing a billionaire into a sale that was at the time, the largest sports transaction in history! It also reveals his new cover assignment from 1979-1983… any interest in the article being posted on your site? If you like, I can send it to you first to review.. just need to know where to send it. Feel free to email me at my account address…

I can't speak on Ricardo's behalf, ZodiacBusDriver - but his own site is project@mk-zodiac.com
Please do add any further articles pertinent, to this thread, though, and I am sure that they would be appreciated.
It would be good to establish an overall understanding of this most curious person, Reeve Whitson.

Could be of interest to you, ZodiacBusDriver, my recent allusion to the '' Steve McQueen Letter '', considered a Zodiac unconfirmed letter, from June 1977, and sent to the Sacramento Bee newspaper. Steve McQueen is one of 30 politicians and Hollywood stars under threat of murder, in this letter. Reference : Terence Steven McQueen FBI File, Pages 9 & 10.
As apparent, the 1971 film '' Le Mans '' starred Steve McQueen....as did the 1966 film '' Grand Prix '' which starred James Garner.
Two iconic movie actors, in roles as motor racing drivers who, also assumed roles as iconic detectives :
Lt.Frank Bullit and Private Eye Jim Rockford.
With aspects to Bullit based on Inspector Dave Toschi of the SFPD.

On sticking with a motor racing angle to this thread, the member '' Ninecrows333 '' has put in some good and interesting research on Buttonwillow, CA - home to the Buttonwillow Raceway Track and, one of the oldest racing clubs in California.
Buttonwillow is about 25 miles outside of Bakersfield, with Bakersfield traditionally the Oil capital of California.
It is certainly possible that the Zodiac visited Buttonwillow, even if only for the purposes of spectating. And, if his job description was related to the Oil business, then a strong likelihood that the Zodiac would have been a regular visitor to Bakersfield - for the likes of business meetings and work courses etc.

Regarding ButtonWillow town murders, I can share with you that at least one of the trio of Zodiac Killers that I have researched led a closeted alternative lifestyle with both male and females. Remember what Paul Avery said about Zodiac’s sexual lifestyle, also SF Inspector Martin Lee’s profile, AND have a look at the Psychology Listing in DSM-1, and updated DSM11 book in 1968, both of which listed Homosexuality as a Mental Disorder… which is what the Zodiac letters referenced about “ I am not sick, I am insane” !!

An excellent podcast referenced, ZodiacBusDriver, and you came across very well in articulating your thoughts and opinions.
These little extra snippets, such as Art Linkletter being appointed a Drugs Tsar by Richard Nixon, are valuable to know.
Our difference of opinion seems to be over whom Robert Linkletter drove out to Sharon Tate's home, later that night. But, both agreed that the driver was Linkletter and, the owner of the pair of spectacles found at the crime scene. (Whitson or Manson)
As a general observation, I think we are agreed that there is more of a '' L.A. - centricity '' to the case, than others might venture.
I believe that the Zodiac made Greater L.A. his primary home (north-east), in the summer of 1969, while continuing to predominantly work close to Vallejo. And, during his summer break, started planning projects, that became the attacks at Lake Berryessa and Presidio Heights.
Please do continue referencing any further podcasts or similar inputs. Appreciated contributions.
