There was a bomb threat at the Roxie Theater on Friday, October 8, 1976. According to Richard Gaikowski, a middle-aged, unaccented voice said, “There is a bomb with a mercury device set to go off in the middle of the theater in 15 minutes.” Here is the news article by Mark Jacobson from the Berkeley Barb, October 15-21, 1976: pic hostFor anyone who is interested, here is a link to my report about it: Project MK-ZODIAC Richard Gaikowski and the Bomb Threat at the Roxie Theater on Friday, October 8, 1976 mk-zodiac.com/BombThreatRoxieTheater1976.html

Is anyone aware if Richard Gaikowski received the phone call threat, himself - or - claimed that an employee of The Roxie had received the call ?
Hopefully, someone will have further information to offer, with respect to this incident.

Writer Nigel Cawthorne,in his book ''Killers at Large'' [Constable & Robinson Ltd 2007],claims that a K-Mart store in Santa Rosa,California was evacuated after a bomb threat by a man identifying himself as ''the Zodiac killer''.Cawthorne places this ''event'' two months before the ''Mount Diablo'' letter to the SF Chronicle June 26 1970.
If true, then this bomb threat took place around late April 1970.
Does anyone have any further information - or indeed, actual confirmation of this K-Mart threat,in Santa Rosa [?].
