The Early Phoenician symbol is the reverse of the symbol that was written on the Zodiac killer's Halloween card.
The Early Phoenician symbol is missing the four dots. The lines are different on the symbol with the four dots, too.
Can you find any other symbol that is a closer match?
I do not think anyone has ever found the source of the symbol with the four dots yet.

The dots are Masonic dot codes.

Sorry, I'm posting too much. I did think the symbol was pentene, but since the Periodic Table has its origins in alchemy, they may well share the same derivation.
I still think the cattle brand may be a clew. Sometimes, to throw us off, he gives us a clew with several plausible explanations, because he thinks we'll assume that since there are several possibilities, neither/none can be true.
But then again, he also loves double clues - a sort of cognitive pun.
On balance, I'd go with the science connection though, as the symbol would connect with 'cerrous' and other oddities.

Read this. I have no idea about codes, but it's an alleged solution to the 340! using Crowley, which I do think is the best place to start. For all I know, this is a load of old rope. But his approach may give someone else an idea. And Michael Aquino (son of Crowley?) is an absolute definite suspect of mine (maybe indirectly). Please forgive me if this has been discussed before. themanyfacesofthezodiac.com/tag/solution-to-340-word-cipher/One of the Zodiac's biggest guns is our fear of appearing to be wrong. Ridicule is nothing to be scared of.

Interviewer too dumb to pick up on what he said about children. Anyway, another little piece of work who's on my list.
Norse magic...
I spat out my coffee laughing when the interviewer said, 'Want a bet?'
Lots of little things. Boots? Take note what he did before he became a tinpot vampire... I would never look into these people's eyes.

Fascinating insight into contemporary attitudes to the occult. Crowley had one Commandment, which is 'Do what thou wilt'. (I think LaVey changed it to 'Do what you want'.) Ha! Get some grammar lessons and don't tell me what to do! And Satan is a character in Paradise Lost! Incidentally, they think that if someone kills you, and you don't die, your karma is good. Bad karma? No chance. In other words, it's the victim's fault. in a previous life. A higher power will decide whatever is meant to happen. Note he has no concept of what a human being is. Really interesting documentary. Beautiful lion. Note at 21:50. An extremely dangerous psychopath (born, not made). I'd say he was capable of great violence, by knife. Warning -very long, with awful alleged music. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Satanic_BibleThis is what happens when you believe in the supernatural or drink on an empty heid.

Watch at one 1 hour. Here's the link again. I wish I could pull that beard though. Is it a 'fake moustache'? Now, wouldn't that be the most amazingly clever disguise?
An extremely dangerous psychopath. Listen between the lines. And remember he's an actor.
Who is Blanche Barton? Did she exorcise swimming pools, by any chance?
Friends often share vocabulary. A guy says 'irk'. Just small things, but this guy deserves to be looked at further. He should never have been on the streets. Note his talk of the Civil War.

Interview with LaVey's daughter. Deeply disturbing. Who knows? It sounds genuine to me, as do the facts and names, as far as I know, and with no extraneous detail. (I can hardly hear it.) But it seems Lavey was a cop. (There are no records.) Plus, she mentions'organised crime' and the Council of Thirteen. Did you know that Sharon Tate's last film (with Orson Welles...) was called '12+1'? Alternate title, '13 Chairs'? It involves the repeated disembowelment of stuffed chairs, tracked down one by one throughout the film, and features a gentleman's hairdresser who invents... a cure for baldness, just as Kirk D thought Jay Sebring did. www.newspapers.com/newspage/5376149/(I'm a film anorak.) What a brave lady. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anton_LaVeyI read that Son of Sam detectives watched a screening of The Wicker Man. Ah, movie trivia. Hey, that proposed partial solution to the 340 I read earlier on, included the phrase 'Cloven Hoof'. Does the person know who the Zodiac is? Read Wiki. I hope I posted the right link.

I've figured out how to find threads now. Sorry. I mean well but I know I must be annoying! Thank goodness there are good researchers on here who can find out more. I'm away to look for a thread on LaVey. I may be gone for some time.
Oops. He might not be dead. All of the above was allegedly. But wait. Fake your own death and you lose the right to sue! As far as I knew, he was dead, so no mens rea! Either way, he is or was a consummate piece of garbage.
I already knew about George Bush.
