Only listen if you have an open mind (but of course, not so open that your brains fall out! - Hitchens?) and if you don't, nothing to hear here. It matches all that I have discovered. One 'prophecy' example of so many would be the paintings of Walter Sickert, or Citizen Kane filming the Black Dahlia crime scene before Elizabeth Short was murdered. Some symbols employed by Zodiac are starkly obvious - but with ''extras''.The distinctive Halloween card symbol does look like the mirror image of ''that'' Phoenician symbol.For what it's worth,the four dots could be Zodiac's eyes and his car headlights [?].A message of ''All looking,all seeing Zodiac'' - and his ''real'' accomplice,a motor car [?].
Of course,''we'' all see things different....my take on the ''complicated'' symbol at the bottom of the ''Exorcist'' letter is a doodle that Zodiac drew,from memory,of a ''birds eye'' view of the waters off Mare Island.A submarine is being attended to by various tugs and support vessels.About an inch to the left of this ''doodle'',Zodiac has even drawn a spore and tadpole [!] to clue us that the doodle is marine in nature [?].Examination of naval manoeuvres maps tend to support my perspective - but it is still ''one'' person's perspective.Zodiac is intimating that he has flown over San Francisco....perhaps a travelling man,coming and going [?].

The Dripping Pen card,mailed to the SF Chronicle November 8th 1969,was Zodiac's first confirmed correspondence since his letter of October 13th,admitting to the murder of Taxi driver Paul Stine.
As far as we are aware,Zodiac had ''bagged'' his first ''adult male of the species'',and was in an up-beat mood.He requested that his new cipher [340] be published,and threatened to ''do his thing'',if ignored.
In this Dripping Pen card,Zodiac signed off with his [now] customary cross-circle symbol and a ''curious'' set of abbreviations,which looked like :
Des July Aug Sept Oct = 7
There has been much controversy over the word ''Des'',much less the statement as a whole.
Personally,I can't imagine why.If those that have racked their brains,had taken the time to look through FBI files,they would have seen a fair sized section on the FBI analyzing ''handprinting'' by ''sample analysis''.One of the FBI's favorite quirky observations was.the way Zodiac often dealt with his lower case ''g's'' - in their own words,''...open,as if resembling a capital 'S'.''.

With regard to the FBI's interpretation of ''Des'',believing it must be ''Deg'' : The FBI comments that Zodiac's lower case ''g's'' were sometimes open,resembling a Capital ''S'',referred to a ''standard'' Capital ''S'' - not specifically Zodiac's Capital ''S''....which,in itself,would show some variation over many letters.Whether we all agree or not,should not detract from their ''general'' observations [?].It is comforting to sense that ''Quantico''have taken a ''broader'' approach to Zodiac's writing,than a ''for hire'' handwriting expert,who makes the bulk of their living from ''forgery''.With Zodiac's letters,there is different criteria to consider [?].
I am pleased that someone else [Christopher Farmer] has acknowledged the ''probable'' ''Deg'' interpretation.Some,who had clearly failed to read the FBI files,were even considering an interpretation as ''Dec'',thinking it must be an additional month [December !].

The Wiccan alphabet is the same as the Witches’ alphabet which was derived from the Theban alphabet. The squiggly symbol resembles the letter "L" in the Theban alphabet.    |
